We are currently seeking an experienced Tutor/Teacher to support a Year 8 pupil with ASD in Bournemouth.

Responsibilities:
  • 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday (12:30pm - 2:30pm)
  • 1:1 support for an intelligent and curious Year 8 boy with ASD who is currently working behind expected levels
  • Focus on Maths, English and some PSHE (including hygiene)
  • Sessions should be broken into short 10-minute activities to maintain engagement
  • Learner interests include drawing, planets, films and farm animals
  • Requires a calm, structured approach, prefers clear schedules and minimal loud noise
Ideal candidate:
  • Experienced tutor or teacher
  • Extensive experience supporting children or young people with ASD is essential
  • Patient, creative and able to adapt learning to individual interests

You’ll be supported by an experienced GSL Education consultant throughout the process, ensuring you feel confident, prepared and well matched to the setting from start to finish.
