The Role:

  • Position: General Teaching Assistant – Year 4
  • Start Date: Immediate start (with flexibility for a September start)
  • Location: Primary School, Wareham
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time (term time only)
  • Class: Supporting a Year 4 class with day-to-day classroom activities and learning

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their development. You will work closely with the class teacher to help manage classroom routines, deliver small group interventions, and support pupils' learning and well-being.

  • Experience working with children in any capacity (e.g. nursery, childminder, youth work, sports coaching, dance teaching, etc.)
  • A positive, proactive, and supportive approach to learning
  • A genuine interest in education and child development
  • SEN experience is desirable, but not essential – enthusiasm and dedication are key!
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
