Supply Teacher Primary Schools across Poole
GSL Education are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teacher to work across a variety of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Poole. This flexible role is available from September 2025, with both longer term and permanent positions on offer to suit your availability and preferences. Applications are warmly welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of year groups, following school plans and curriculum guidelines.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and uphold school policies.
- Provide feedback on pupil progress and contribute to the smooth running of the school day.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for supporting children s learning and development.
- Must be able to drive or take public transport.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
