GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a supportive SEMH provision in Plymouth catering to students aged 4-16. About the Role:

  • Providing 1:1 mentoring and small group interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Supporting students with SEMH challenges, Autism, speech and language difficulties, or other learning needs to develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and specialists to implement strategies that enable students to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting on interventions, celebrating successes along the way.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students, acting as a trusted adult and role model.
