We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a unique farm-based and outdoor learning environment, supporting young people aged 16-25 with PMLD, complex needs and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for someone who believes learning goes beyond the classroom and thrives through sensory experiences, practical activities and meaningful relationships.
The Role
- Support learners through alternative and personalised learning pathways, using the farm and outdoor environment to promote engagement, wellbeing, independence and communication.
- Supporting learners with individual learning and sensory needs.
- Delivering and assisting with outdoor, practical and farm-based activities.
- Creating a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred education.
- Assisting with personal care where required, always promoting dignity and choice.
About You
- Patient, empathetic and resilient.

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible and creative in adapting learning activities.
- Committed to supporting young people with complex needs.
- Experience in SEN, care, education, youth work or outdoor learning is desirable, but full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
