We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a strong commitment to their development and well-being. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, ensuring the safety and security of the children, and working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to support each child\’s unique needs.

Position: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary Scale: £85-£120 per day
Contract Type: Full-time (8:30-3:30)
Start Date: September or ASAP if available
Key Responsibilities:

As a Nursery Practitioner you will plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will observe and assess children s development, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies, including safeguarding and health and safety standards.
Requirements:

A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years Educator, or equivalent).

Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to childcare.
