Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Post 16 College, Chelmsford Location: Chelmsford Start Date: ASAP Daily Rate: £90–£130 (depending on experience) We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a dynamic and supportive Post-16 college setting in Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students aged 16–19 with a range of additional needs (including SEN, ASD, and SEMH). Assist in lessons, promote engagement, and encourage independence. Work closely with teaching staff to ensure all students have access to the curriculum. Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Ideal Candidate: Experience working with young people in an educational or care setting. Patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting learners. A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one). This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and starts immediately. Please note: All applicants must have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
