GSL Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sudbury to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher. This role will be full-time from September to December 2025, then moving to 4 days a week from January until May 2026.
We are looking for a passionate classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and support pupils in reaching their full potential. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and high expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively, providing timely interventions where needed.
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values and policies.
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
- Be reflective, enthusiastic, and willing to work as part of a committed team
- Have a secure knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
