GSL Education are recruiting Education/ Psychology/ Childcare Graduate TAs to support students academically and to aid the class teacher in in the development of the students. Being a graduate, if you have ever thought about education as a potential career for you, why not find out first hand as a Teaching Assistant.
Our client is specifically looking for graduates who are looking to pursue a career in teaching. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work across EYFS through to Year 11. The role will include providing general classroom, 1:1 support, small group interventions, Classroom Teaching and leading booster sessions.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- Is able to raise and sustain high standards
- Has minimum of 6 months experience working in an Education or Child Care Setting.
- Has a Degree or Equivalent in a Subject Specialism- English, Child Care, Health and Social Care, Psychology, SEN .
- Ideally should have experience working with children and/or young people.
- Has an innovative and creative practitioner with a drive and passion to ensure all students achieve
- Holds enthusiasm for working with a range of students with differing needs and abilities;
- Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills
- Has good knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum and how young children learn
- Has experience of working collaboratively within a team of people to provide a stimulating learning environment
- Has the ability to share expertise, knowledge and understanding of young children s needs and achievements with parents and staff
