GSL Education is working with a number of friendly and welcoming nursery settings across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, and we’re looking for Nursery Assistants to join our growing team. Whether you’re Level 2 or Level 3 qualified, or unqualified with hands-on childcare experience, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll support children in their early years development, helping to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where little ones can learn, play, and grow. This is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Gain experience in a variety of nursery settings
- Choose full-time or part-time hours to suit your availability
- Enjoy flexible work that fits around family, studies, or other commitments
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting children with play-based learning and daily routines
- Helping to create a warm, safe, and engaging environment
- Assisting with activities that support early development and learning
- Supporting mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
- Working as part of a friendly nursery team to ensure high standards of care
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable, not essential)
- Unqualified candidates with experience working with children are welcome
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude
- A genuine passion for early years education
- Ability to adapt to different nursery settings and routines
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
