About the Role: The successful candidate will support learning through engaging, personalised activities and help create a safe, motivating environment for all nursery-aged students. Key Responsibilities: Support children in the nursery with daily learning activities tailored to their individual needs. Assist in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that encourages emotional, social, and cognitive development. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social skills through structured and play-based activities. Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a nurturing environment. Observe, record, and report on children’s progress to inform planning and personalised support strategies. Key Requirements: Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a nursery or SEN setting. Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive early years practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and staff. Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt support according to individual needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team to support a positive and stimulating learning environment.
