- Senior Customer Business Manager
- Job Purpose
The Senior Customer Business Manager leads the growth agenda for assigned customers, shaping Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and commercial priorities to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
The role acts as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders building relationships and driving our joint growth agendas through leading execution across our Healthcare & Oral Care portfolios.
We are looking for candidates for a variety of roles including Digital Commerce and Grocery.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning
- Develop and deliver customer and category strategies that create long-term, sustainable growth across key measures (e. g., sales, share, profit and cash).
- Identify and deploy growth levers to deliver consumption, share and penetration for both the customer and Haleon brands, and deliver the P&L (NS, GM & OP, cash flow) by partnering across functions to develop and execute the agreed plans.
- Customer Partnership
- Build relationships with key customer stakeholders and use insight-led selling to influence decisions across the relevant categories.
- Make category recommendations on range, distribution, availability, space, promotions and new product development (NPD), across both in-store and online execution.
- Adopt a cross functional approach to ensure engagement and support across multiple teams so that they can act as a champion for the customer ensuring their needs are continually met and exceeded.
- Financial Management
- To build a range of P&L's in order to understand the shape and profitability of the business and identify opportunities for future growth.
- To build and develop a robust commercial calendar that delivers both against GSK and customer needs.
- Responsible for development and implementation of JBPs including the NRM execution and delivery of our commercial growth framework.
- Continuous Improvement
- Continuously challenge standard practices, test new ideas and take in-year course-correction actions as required (within strategic guidelines defined with the Net Revenue team).
- Deliver defined business priorities with clear focus on execution and responsibility to influence and adapt plans in response to evolving business conditions and strategy changes.
- Play an active role in the commercial Haleon community supporting the performance and development of the business.
- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Digital or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Extensive experience in Digital Commerce, e Commerce, Omnichannel Sales or Key Account Management, ideally within FMCG, Consumer Health or Retail.
- Proven track record leading complex digital customer relationships and shaping Joint Business Plans.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning sales targets, investment decisions and growth trade-offs.
- Deep understanding of online retail dynamics and the digital path to purchase.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate insights into strategic and commercial action.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading large, complex or strategic digital commerce accounts.
- Exposure to regional or multi-market digital commerce responsibilities.
- Experience partnering with retailer media networks or leading joint digital activation strategies.
- Familiarity with digital shelf analytics, e Commerce performance tools and advanced reporting.
- Strong curiosity for evolving digital commerce trends, shopper behaviour and new online retail models.
