The Warehouse Technician has responsibility to carry out material movements and handling using the correct mechanical handling equipment and following appropriate procedures to provide the necessary level of internal and external customer service.
Key responsibilities:- Ensure the production / logistics facility is effectively run, meeting all of the required Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory standards.
- The safe loading, unloading, distribution and stowage of materials, including all necessary system transactions.
- Collation and packing of internal and external orders, including dispensing of material to meet the required level of customer service.
- Safe use of all mechanical handling equipment that individual technicians are licensed to operate.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed in full and report any Safety/Quality related issues.
- Stand in for Lead Technician as required.
- Ensure Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) transactions are completed in a timely manner.
- Complete required stock checks to maintain Inventory control.
- Completion of training programs and 100% adherence to documented safety protocols, verified through safety audits and incident records, during operation of mechanical handling equipment.
- Perform tasks with errors identified and reviewed through established quality checks and respond to customer queries in accordance with established SLAs.
- Previous warehouse and/or SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
This role is fully onsite, requiring five days per week onsite presence. Please note that this role is aligned to the shift-pattern. Shifts are either 07:00 to 14:30 or 14:15 to 22:00.
