This job is with GSK, an inclusive employer. At GSK's Barnard Castle site, we are looking to recruit a Site Launch and Data Control (SLDC) Coordinator to work in the Supply-Chain and Logistics team.

GSK Barnard Castle is a key secondary manufacturing site and has invested heavily in industry 4.0 state of the art equipment to support sustained new product introductions and volume increases. The site contributes revenues of ~$2Bn annually.

Job Purpose: The SLDC Coordinator manages the creation of new packs (NPI/NPR) and changes to the existing site pack range (PAO) using artwork systems (GLAMS /CHAMPS) and SAP notifications. The role collaborates closely with various teams to ensure that pack creations and changes are implemented within agreed lead-times whilst complying with GMP and EHS requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Fully evaluate all pack-change requests and co-ordinate the site impact assessment with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate via the weekly change meeting with all key functional areas to ensure that all matters relating to changes are fully discussed and communicated.
  • Work with Production Schedulers and Material Schedulers to ensure pack change dates are achieved.
  • Create and approve lifecycle changes and trigger deletions of obsolete packs/components in SAP, GLAMS and other related supply chain systems.
  • Manage own workload and time effectively.
  • Represent SLDC on projects such as Portfolio Optimisation and NPI launches.
  • Communicate and liaise with other SLDC Co-ordinators to drive forward continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality Standards and Regulatory Requirements.

About You: This role is suited to a motivated person with good influencing, communication, and teamworking skills. The successful candidate will have knowledge/experience of supply-chain and logistics with demonstrable time-management and prioritisation skills.

Basic Qualifications / Skills:

  • Sound understanding of Supply Chain processes.
  • Developed internal and external customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
  • GCSEs or equivalent (including Mathematics and English).
  • Ability to manage high workload against demanding timelines.
  • Cross-functional skills across different departments and third-party suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience of the New Product Range Definition Process.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
