The Senior OU Tech Partner (Europe) is a senior Organisational Unit (OU) Digital & Technology partner accountable for delivering business-critical digital capabilities that enable commercial growth and operational excellence across the Europe OU. The role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery and operational management of digital and technology capabilities supporting Haleon’s OU priorities in Europe. Acting as the primary technology partner to OU business leaders, this role ensures digital priorities are translated into reliable, scalable solutions aligned to global platforms and standards.

The focus is on execution excellence, adoption, operational performance, and measurable business impact, rather than enterprise or regional strategy ownership. The role requires experience delivering digital capabilities across sales, marketing, eCommerce, and digital platforms, alongside operational technologies such as infrastructure and security. Combining strong commercial understanding with execution leadership, the Senior OU Tech Partner owns end-to-end delivery, adoption, and performance of digital initiatives, while ensuring alignment with Haleon’s global roadmaps, governance, and ways of working.

Success in this role is driven by delivery excellence, business impact, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrixed global environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery & Execution
    • Deliver agreed digital and technology initiatives supporting OU priorities.
    • Translate defined roadmaps and plans into clear delivery activities, milestones, and outcomes.
    • Own end-to-end delivery accountability for key OU initiatives, ensuring measurable business outcomes (e.g. growth, productivity, adoption).
    • Coordinate and lead delivery across internal teams, global platform partners, and vendors.
    • Track progress, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues proactively.
  • Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with OU Marketing, Sales, Customer, and Corporate teams to clarify requirements and support delivery.
    • Partner with commercial leaders to align digital initiatives with market growth priorities, ensuring technology investments deliver tangible business value.
    • Bring strong understanding of commercial drivers (sales execution, distribution, customer engagement, eCommerce) into solution delivery.
    • Act as the primary day‑to‑day technology contact for assigned domains or initiatives.
    • Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to enable adoption and value realisation.
  • Matrix & Global Collaboration
    • Partner with global product, engineering, and platform teams to deliver Europe OU requirements in line with global standards.
    • Contribute delivery feedback and local insights to support continuous improvement of global platforms and services.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
    • Ensure delivery activities follow secure‑by‑design principles and established architecture standards.
    • Apply global IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks within assigned scope.
    • Support compliance with local regulatory, data privacy, and security requirements.
  • Operations & Financial Management
    • Monitor operational performance of owned digital and technology services and support issue resolution with global teams.
    • Support budget tracking, vendor coordination, and benefits tracking for assigned initiatives.
  • Team & Capability Contribution
    • Lead cross-functional delivery teams and workstreams across markets, global platform teams, and vendors.
    • Provide direction, prioritisation, and decision support across complex initiatives.
    • Act as a senior point of escalation for delivery, adoption, and performance challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive experience in digital, technology, or commercial technology roles, including leadership of complex delivery initiatives.
  • Experience delivering digital capabilities across sales, marketing, eCommerce, CRM, or digital experience platforms.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organisation, partnering with central product and platform teams.
  • Exposure to technology operations, vendors, or delivery partners.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in CPG, retail, or consumer‑led environments advantageous.
