The Senior Learning Experience Designer will set and lead the Global Supply Chain (GSC) learning strategy to drive measurable capability uplift, performance improvement, and strategic transformation across regions, sites, and functions. The role delivers GSC-wide learning strategy, design standards, innovation, and governance, while supporting business stakeholders and local learning representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the GSC learning experience design strategy aligned to enterprise capability priorities and business transformation agendas.
  • Lead the learning design portfolio, determining investment, prioritisation and sequencing of major learning initiatives across Sites and Functions.
  • Own GSC learning design frameworks, standards and governance models to ensure consistency and instructional integrity.
  • Lead, coach and develop learning experience designers and external partners.
  • Influence enterprise stakeholders and define success metrics by rigorously evaluating learning impact.
  • Lead change management and communication strategies to embed learning into ways of working.
  • Approve learning design approaches, programme architectures and vendor use within governance frameworks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive experience leading enterprise learning design strategies in a global organisation.
  • Proven success owning large-scale learning portfolios with measurable business impact.
  • Experience leading and developing learning design teams and managing vendors.
  • Strong track record influencing senior leaders in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using learning analytics to demonstrate business impact.
  • Knowledge of agile or iterative design approaches to learning development.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare or other regulated environments.

Work Location

The role may be based from GSK headquarters in London, Ware or Worthing, Barnard Castle or Upper Merion, Philadelphia, Upper Providence, USA, Singapore or Wavre, Belgium, with a hybrid working model combining on-site and remote work.

Salary and Benefits

The annual gross base salary range for new hires is location-specific and includes considerations of market rates and candidate experience. The role may offer an annual bonus and participation in a share-based long-term incentive programme.
