About the Role

The S/4 Architect is a senior Architecture role within Digital & Technology (D&T), accountable for shaping and governing the target architecture of Haleon's SAP S/4 landscape and ensuring the platform delivers maximum business value, simplicity, scalability and operational excellence. This is a highly visible and key central role in a significant global S/4 implementation. For an Architect with deep expertise in SAP S/4 and modern SAP technologies, this role bridges enterprise technology and critical business objectives to define, govern and evolve Haleon's next-generation ERP platform.

Haleon will adopt SAP S/4 Private Cloud Edition including Business Data Cloud, Joule AI and supporting SAP and non-SAP cloud technologies. This role will own the architecture vision and target state for the S/4 implementation, ensuring technical designs maximise standard capability, minimise complexity, accelerate value delivery and establish a scalable foundation for future innovation. The S/4 Architect operates proactively and holistically, guiding enterprise leaders, product managers, product owners and delivery teams through platform design, optimisation, capability expansion and business process transformation.

Working closely with Transformation Architecture, Domain Architects and specialist architects across Integration, Security, Data and Analytics, the role drives a coherent ERP architecture anchored on standard SAP capabilities, end-to-end business processes and enterprise outcomes. You will join a highly capable world-class team under strong and clear leadership and leverage your direct and partner team resources to deliver transformational business outcomes.

You will be shaping and governing the architecture for Haleon's SAP S/4 platform, ensuring that business capabilities, processes, data and technology are delivered through a scalable, integrated and strategically aligned S/4 architectural backbone.

  • Reduction of complexity through standardisation and platform convergence.
  • End-to-end process and outcome-centric architecture design.
  • Governance of SAP architecture standards, principles and design guardrails.
  • Executive-level advisory to Enterprise Transformation and business leadership.
