Risk Insights Lead, Europe and Internationa

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and translate complex risk data into actionable business insights to support risk management across GSK Europe and International regions.
• Work closely with Senior Compliance Leaders and Compliance Business Partners to enable proactive identification of emerging risks and inform decision‑making.
• Generate actionable data‑driven risk insight: translate multi‑source risk data into clear, practical insights for leaders.
• Identify, benchmark and prioritize high risk activities, provide consolidated views across local, area and regional levels to support targeted mitigation.
• Advise and influence senior Compliance leaders on key issues, emerging risks and best practices, embedding insights into broader risk management initiatives such as the Compliance Monitoring Strategy.
• Maintain regular reporting on the effectiveness of data‑insight driven risk management and align risk insights to commercial and risk focus areas and planning cycle.
• Support local operating companies and stakeholders by helping them understand risk insights and reinforce accountability for reporting and follow‑up actions.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical and other cross‑functional teams to promote integration and efficient insight generation.
• Collaborate with the Risk Analytics and Monitoring team to apply advanced analytics and tools to identify patterns, trends and anomalies in data.
• Lead continuous improvement of data‑driven risk insights to strengthen scalability and effectiveness of risk management, enhancing reports, dashboards, data quality and analytical methods.
• Coach and develop Compliance colleagues, fostering a data‑driven risk culture across the function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Compliance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls or related business‑partnering roles.
• Strong programme and project management skills, able to manage parallel priorities and timelines.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, developing or implementing risk management and compliance programmes.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
• Experience influencing stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation, leading through influence rather than direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management skills.
• Maintains credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust in sensitive compliance issues.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare or highly regulated industry (preferred).
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring frameworks and integrated risk management methodologies.
• Experience using data analytics, reporting and visualisation tools, and evolving technologies such as artificial intelligence (preferred).
• Experience supporting regional or global organisations.
