WREF is responsible for the full lifecycle of planning, execution and operations of the GSK real estate portfolio consisting of R&D facilities, office buildings, manufacturing plants and distribution centres.
The Real Estate Portfolio Manager, APAC supports the Director of Real Estate and Asset Management, APAC, and works alongside highly skilled external consultants to optimise the performance of the Region’s property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the GSK End-to-End Process for Real Estate Portfolio, including stakeholder alignment, real estate strategy, site selection, negotiation, lease execution and capital project delivery.
- Work with real estate experts and advisors to develop innovative real estate solutions that leverage GSK’s property assets.
- Lead multiple complex transactions from concept to completion, including preparation of submissions for Executive approval.
- Manage sub-leases where GSK may be a landlord, responsible for tenant selection and relationship management.
- Support the development and delivery of significant projects to optimise business performance and ensure cost efficiency.
- Work with peers in Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to manage vendor relationships and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with the WREF regional team to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Subject matter expertise in a Real Estate Asset Class.
- A proven track record of managing Real Estate assets across multiple geographies.
- Financial analysis skills including cashflow, NPV, P&L, etc.
- Proven knowledge of real estate, property development and the built environment.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
- Experience developing strategic real estate plans.
- Proven leadership capability.
- Experience of leading organisational change.
- Experience in using artificial intelligence agents.

- Familiar with End-to-End real estate process from user requirement collection to project execution.
- Experience in R&D or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate external environmental changes.
