This role leads Production Scheduling process excellence across the B&D network by embedding functional maturity standards in BAU, shaping the Advanced Scheduling future state and deployment approach, and acting as BAU Business Process Owner for the OMP Advanced Scheduling roadmap to enable sites and deliver measurable benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Embed scheduling functional maturity standards in BAU through maturity baselines/roadmaps, standard work, dashboards, and continuous improvement coaching.
- Provide business process leadership to site Scheduling Managers/SMEs across diverse manufacturing archetypes and scheduling solutions.
- Lead governance and decision-making on operational scheduling standards, including facilitating key forums to align sites and global stakeholders.
- Define the Advanced Scheduling future state in programme phase (processes, RACI, interfaces, deployment playbook, and adoption/benefit tracking).
- Partner across Design, Data, Tech, Deployment and business teams to deliver programme outcomes on time and support sites through transition and hypercare.
- Own BAU product leadership for OMP Advanced Scheduling (roadmap/releases, L0 SME support, training/enablement, cross-functional alignment, champions network, and business cases for future waves).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in production scheduling, supply planning, and/or manufacturing operations in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience establishing and embedding operational standards (e.g., standard work, governance/RACI, ways of working) and driving adoption across teams or sites.
- Experience supporting or leading process and/or digital deployments, including training/enablement and transition support (e.g., hypercare).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with practical experience using planning and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, scheduling/APS systems).
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders to make timely, risk-based operational decisions in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) tools (e.g., OMP Advanced Scheduling, SAP PP/DS, Kinaxis, AspenTech) and translating business needs into scalable process/system requirements.
- Experience acting as a Business Process Owner/product owner (or similar) for an operations process/system, including roadmap input, release readiness/impact assessment, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience defining and tracking benefits, adoption, and operational KPIs to support value realisation and continuous improvement.
- Strong facilitation and change leadership skills, including building SME/champions networks and running workshops/forums across sites.
- Lean/Six Sigma (or equivalent) training and practical continuous improvement delivery experience.
