Overview

Senior Product Director for Mission Control, an AI-led DevOps analytics platform, owning the end-to-end technology delivery from concept to production. You will define a technical roadmap, manage a bi-weekly release cadence, and oversee multi-vendor delivery to scale AI-driven decision-making in development operations. You will work closely with Business Rep and cross-functional teams to balance value, risk, and compliance in a fast-moving, ultra-Agile environment. This role shapes how study data becomes real-time insight across portfolios and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Mission Control platform end-to-end: roadmap, backlog, and release plan from concept to production
  • Translate business vision into technical epics, features and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize backlog by business value, risk, dependencies and compliance; communicate decisions
  • Manage bi-weekly release scope, go/no-go decisions and post-release review
  • Ensure alignment with architecture standards and enterprise tooling
  • Lead end-to-end AI apps development from framing to productionisation and value realization
  • Define model interfaces, data contracts, monitoring and retraining triggers with data science teams
  • Drive active innovation: experiments, value-focused scaling, and governance considerations
  • Oversee integration of AI/ML models into Mission Control with explainability and production monitoring
  • Collaborate with architects to evolve modular microservices architecture and data hub integrations
  • Lead vendor management with offshore/nearshore partners; governance and performance reviews
  • Ensure GxP, computer system validation, quality standards, automated testing and CI/CD
  • Own Definition of Done and release artefacts; ensure timely validation and records

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in Computer Science / Information Technology / Life Sciences / Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Substantial experience as Product Owner/Director owning complex data/analytics platforms in regulated environments
  • Experience delivering AI applications end-to-end from concept to adoption with measurable value
  • Understanding of how AI/ML and statistical models are built, deployed, monitored and governed in production
  • Ultra-Agile mindset with frequent scope changes and fast decision-making
  • Proven track record delivering at enterprise scale with predictable release cadences
  • Strong knowledge of development operations for study start-up, site activation and performance monitoring
  • Experience leading multi-vendor delivery ecosystems (including offshore/nearshore)
  • Fluent in Agile product management and full lifecycle
  • Knowledge of GxP, computer system validation and quality requirements for regulated systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts to senior business audiences
