As the Portfolio Strategy Manager for Anti-infectives, you will develop and lead the marketing strategy for a variety of assets across the anti-infective portfolio, reporting to the Director, Portfolio Strategy & Launch Lead, Anti-Infectives. Additionally, this is a great opportunity for leadership as the main brand owner for one of our core anti-infective products, leading both HCP and DTC strategy in addition to overall go-to-market models.
This is a strategically important role for GSK as we re-enter the anti-infective market establishing a broad franchise in an environment where there are a variety of products with synergies playing in an overlapping marketplace. You will be required to travel domestically up to 25%.
In this role you will…
- Own strategy and execution of both professional and consumer marketing for a core asset within the anti-infective portfolio.
- Define customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; product positioning; creative strategy, core messaging and content plans; integrated, cross channel promotional mix.
- Support launch plans for selected assets in the Anti-Infectives portfolio, ensuring successful execution and market entry.
- Drive external partnerships and innovation initiatives, including identification and testing of new opportunities to market our products differently and maximise our ambition.
- Set direction and ensure strategic alignment across functional stakeholder groups.
- Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace.
- Foster an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust and development.
Basic Requirements:
- BS/BA with 4 years of marketing or relevant commercial experience.
- Ability to be in-office consistently 2-3 days per week (Philadelphia, PA or Durham, NC).
- Experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences industry.
- Project management experience.
- 25% travel required.
- Experience of working in a matrix environment, cross functionally.
- Experienced stakeholder management.
Preferred Requirements:
- MBA Degree.
- Minimum 2 years in US biopharmaceutical marketing.
- Experience in US healthcare anti-infectives brand marketing.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership, proven decision-making, strategic thinking, problem-solving.
- Experience with primary and secondary market research.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to utilise market research to inform decision making.
- Budget management experience.
- Experience implementing projects within pharma including copy approval experience.
- Experience managing external Agencies.
- Experience in both HCP and DTC strategy.
