Position Summary

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Provide day-to-day technical support to packaging operations, troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
2. Lead and support packaging design changes, including new product introductions, material changes, and equipment upgrades.
3. Coordinate and execute packaging trials, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
4. Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and Bills of Material.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to assess and qualify packaging materials and resolve technical issues.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

Qualifications/Skills

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
– A degree in engineering, packaging, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
– Knowledge of packaging materials and processes (e.g., plastics, glass, board, adhesives).
– Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally pharmaceutical or similar.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:
It’s a plus if you have:
– Experience with packaging design and validation processes.
– Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
– An innovative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
