Overview
In this role you drive the design and operational delivery of access programs for HIV medicines in LMICs, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to expand sustainable access. You will manage day-to-day delivery of access initiatives, coordinate demand and supply planning, and foster relationships with global health stakeholders. The position blends global health strategy, partnerships, and execution, contributing to ViiV’s mission to leave no person living with HIV behind. You will work cross-functionally to implement impactful access solutions and engage with governments, NGOs and donors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver access strategies and programmes in LMICs
- Manage day-to-day delivery of access programmes and partnerships with supranational orgs, governments, and health programmes
- Coordinate demand and supply planning for priority medicines with accurate forecasting and routes to supply
- Build and maintain relationships with global health stakeholders (policy makers, governments, NGOs, donors, partners)
- Collaborate with Government Affairs, Policy and Access, and cross-functional teams (regulatory, medical, legal, manufacturing, supply chain) to support programme delivery
- Support external engagement on access activities with Global Communications
- Oversee community organisation partnerships and grants to ensure alignment with priorities and objectives
Key requirements
- Degree in health sciences, public health, international development or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in HIV, global health partners, health systems and access to medicines in LMICs
- Experience in operational delivery in global health and commercial settings
- Experience collaborating with supply chain, regulatory, medical, legal and communications functions
- Experience managing multiple priorities with strong organisational and project-management skills
- Experience collaborating across diverse cultures and organisations with strong communication skills
- Experience working in complex matrix environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
