As Head of Strategic Projects, Operations and AI, Internal Communications, you will be accountable for developing and delivering communications plans and content to embed our GSK enterprise priorities, support strategic projects and initiatives for the enterprise and execute our Culture and Engagement plans. You will additionally be responsible for leading AI transformation in CGA – developing a strategic plan with clearly defined focus areas and driving the upskilling behaviour change and mindset needed. You will lead a small team of two communications and AI professionals and will partner closely with business leaders, and specifically with Tech leaders. You should be able to work at pace and have strong leadership skills, business understanding, knowledge of and experience with using AI, data and tech in communications, as well as an ability to influence and lead others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role leads the Strategic Projects, Operations and AI, Internal Communications team (team of 3 in total) and reports to the VP, Internal Communication and Global Functions.
  • Leading the team, building a strong collaborative culture, supporting development and providing focus, clarity and direction.
  • Owning the AI transformation plan for the CGA function, partnering with CGA colleagues to define the focus and determine use cases where we have the biggest opportunities as well as executing a targeted capability building and engagement plan to enable and drive change.
  • Partnering collaboratively with business leaders, including Tech functional leaders, to ensure we have the right strategies, tools and support and acting as an AI champion for the CGA function.
  • Developing and delivering impactful communications plans to bring to life and embed our enterprise priorities, using storytelling and compelling proof points to demonstrate progress and build confidence.
  • Lead communications planning and support for strategic projects across the enterprise, as required.

  • Required experience: Knowledge and experience of applying AI solutions to solve communications/business challenges. Track record in leading and driving change in a functional team. Significant internal communications experience supporting a complex, international organization and senior leaders. Experience in leading and developing high performing teams across different locations. Proven track record in translating corporate strategy to frontline audiences.

Location and Hybrid Working Model: This role is based at our central London HQ and follows a hybrid working model. You will be expected to work onsite regularly, typically 2/3 days per week.
