If so, consider joining GSK Oncology as Director, Global Strategic Insights (GSI), supporting a critical launched Hematology asset within the Oncology portfolio.

As Director, Global Strategic Insights, you will serve as the strategic insights and forecasting lead for a key marketed Hematology asset. You will influence brand, lifecycle, and investment decisions by integrating customer insights, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Working closely with the Medicine Commercialization Leader, Brand Insights Directors, and a broad cross-functional group of partners, you will:

  • Lead insight generation to shape and drive commercial forecasts for business governance milestones, in close partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Own commercial forecast integration and strategic interpretation for key planning, governance, and investment decisions.
  • Define, structure, plan, and commission global market research to proactively answer key business questions and generate concise, actionable recommendations.
  • Integrate primary market research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and customer insights to develop a clear point of view on market evolution and brand performance.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights generation, and innovative research approaches to improve decision speed, quality, and efficiency while maintaining rigor and excellence.
  • Develop robust forecast models and scenarios that translate market and customer understanding into sound investment planning inputs.
  • Partner with the Global Competitive Intelligence team to monitor external developments and translate implications into concise, impactful recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior commercial, medical, development, finance, and cross-functional leaders.

  • Lead multiple strategic workstreams and influence decisions across highly matrixed global teams.
  • Shape strategic choices through scenario planning, future market modeling, and evidence-based challenge of key assumptions.
  • Develop deep subject matter expertise in the lead indication, current and evolving competitive landscapes, treatment dynamics, and long-term strategic outlooks.
  • Deliver well-integrated, actionable insights that support global brand strategy, governance discussions, lifecycle planning, and investment choices.
  • Harness the latest research, analytics, and technology-enabled methodologies to deliver a competitive edge for GSK.
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships to ensure excellence in insight-generation execution, business partnership, and value delivery.
  • Use a broad set of internal and external resources to identify opportunities, assess asset and indication potential, and provide guidance to optimize development and commercialization plans.
  • Build alignment, clarity, and shared ownership across cross-functional teams by communicating insights with a clear point of view and practical recommendations.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Significant pharmaceutical industry experience in commercial analytics, market research, forecasting, strategic insights, or related commercial strategy roles.
  • Strong track record across global and/or regional business analytics and insights roles, with demonstrated ability to translate evidence into strategy.
  • Experience conducting primary market research combined with forecasting expertise.
  • Ability to integrate insight sources, develop a clear point of view, and communicate actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence in complex, matrixed global organizations.

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA, MS, MA, or other advanced degree in business, marketing science, life sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Prior Hematology and/or Oncology experience.
  • Management consulting experience or similar strategic advisory experience.
  • Experience supporting marketed brands, product launches, lifecycle optimization, business development assessments, or indication expansion opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply data and analyses to high-impact business decisions.
  • Experience influencing executive governance forums and confidently defending evidence-based recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex evidence into clear implications and prioritized actions.
  • Experience integrating primary market research, secondary analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and advanced analytics.
  • Experience leading external agency partnerships and delivering high-quality insight programs.
  • Agility, flexibility, and comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
