About the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the Brand Lead in the localisation of Haleon’s strategy, programme, execution and innovation to drive and enable growth within Europe. The Europe Marketing Manager reports to the Europe Brand Lead and works closely with in-market activation teams to play a crucial role in the delivery of brand performance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the Brand Lead to deliver market share, sales and profit growth for the assigned Global Brand (or portfolio); monitor market performance, track Global Brand KPIs within their OU, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support the Brand Lead in the translation of Global Brand strategy at OU level, definition of localisation approach to global campaigns and brand assets to resonate with local market nuances while maintaining brand identity.
- Contribute to the development of OU brand plan aligned to category strategy: Plan, oversee, and evaluate OU level and local marketing activations across consumer and trade, including media plan development, creative adaptation, consumer campaigns, and new product launches, aligned to marketing strategies.
- Closely collaborate with in-market activation team to drive end-to-end brand activation: Pricing/promo, media, retail execution & digital commerce, NPD.
- Gather and structure OU-specific insights and learnings, contributing to the evolution of global brand strategy.
- Lead stand-alone projects for a brand in Europe including innovation, communication, expert/HCP and commex (in collaboration with other functions).
Skills / Experience Required:
- Significant experience in FMCG and/or healthcare, with a proven track record of achievement.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, including developing and overseeing brand execution plans and managing A&P budgets.
- Experience in new product launches and delivering large-scale communication campaigns, including digital activation.
- Understanding of evolving customer, retail, and channel practices across diverse markets.
Preferred:
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver results in a matrix organisation.
- Strong financial capabilities and business acumen.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively across changing situations, including organisational change and evolving job demands.
- Experience in the healthcare and/or wellness industry.
