Advanced Analytics and Future Capabilities within Supply Chain Insights to Impact is focused on using new and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Graph Networks and Decision Intelligence to deliver next level supply chain performance. The team consists of broad experts across the supply chain and partners with the supply and demand business units to deliver transformative change using advanced technologies.

As a business SME & experienced Data Scientist you will work with a small team of Technical, Business and data science teams to design and deliver Decision Intelligence, analytics, machine learning solutions that support business decisions within our agentic framework. You will work closely with cross-functional partners across Supply Chain, operations and technology to translate business problems into data solutions. - As a business lead manage development squads and business SMEs to design and implement advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence to drive business value through Decision Intelligence solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where Advanced Analytics and Decision Intelligence can drive value.
- Translate and complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
- Plan and deliver transformative change in the business units.
- Drive continuous improvement in data science processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
This role is a hybrid position based in the United Kingdom, Europe or India. You will be expected to attend on-site meetings and collaborate in person as needed. We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing development teams and delivering impactful projects.
- Problem solving & consulting skills.
- Experience building and deploying AI models with Agentic orchestration to production or analytic pipelines.
- Practical experience with data wrangling, feature engineering and data quality checks.
- Experience with Knowledge Graph models/solutions (preferably RDF).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams at all levels and time zones.
- Possess analytic curiosity to seek out and develop potential solutions and a track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud) and containerised deployment.
- Experience with MLOps, model monitoring and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of causal inference, experimental design or predictive modelling for operational decision-making.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organisation and partnering across diverse teams.
