The Enterprise Transformation Programme is a multi-year journey focused on transforming the Haleon business building an organisation that is wired for excellence to be able to deliver our ‘Win as One’ strategy and drive growth through continuous improvement. The programme aims to strengthen the heartbeat of our business enabling us to become more agile, efficient, and innovative and is enabled through SAP S/4HANA. The Functional Lead plays a critical role in turning this ambition a reality by ensuring the Enterprise Transformation delivery enables the functional ambition and unlocks value at pace.
Detailed Responsibilities- Functional Leads play a key role in overseeing, driving delivery, and communicating about, the Enterprise Transformation outcomes for their functions. By partnering with functional leadership, Functional Leads will challenge proposed plans, manage risks and issues, and ensure readiness for delivery with successful adoption, including interim operating states during the transformation process.
- Design Plan and Coordination: Collaborate with functional leadership to ensure design meets functional requirements and strategic objectives. Facilitate workshops to gather input, feedback, and socialise recommendations made with functional leadership to refine and finalise functional design in partnership with Business Process Owners. Own functional decision governance process, driving decisions through relevant governance forums and Functional Leadership Team meetings. Align functional designs with programme timelines and milestones, ensuring coordination with other functional areas.
- Readiness for Delivery: Evaluate the preparedness of their functional area for programme delivery, identifying any gaps and proposing solutions. Support their functional area in bridging gaps for readiness.
- Interim Operating States Management: Oversee the establishment and management of interim operating states to support business continuity during transformation. Collaborate with functional leadership and operational teams to design and implement interim processes, ensuring minimal disruption to existing operations. Ensure that plans are in place to transition from interim states to permanent processes in a sustainable way.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective relationships with functional leaders and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the programme. Communicate effectively, adapting messaging for different audiences to ensure clarity and engagement in the programme objectives. Champion the interest of functional teams, ensuring their priorities are reflected in programme decision-making.
- Experience working in complex, global organisations, ideally within Consumer Health, or FMCG sectors.
- General Management or Country Management experience is needed. Strong Comex Head Experience would be a second option.
- Inspiring and motivating – strong leader with the power to inspire, energize, and motivate their team to work together to achieve shared goals.
- Building strong relationships – skilled at developing ability to build strong collaborative team connections relationships with their team.
- Making informed decisions – Evaluates challenges considering problems and challenges from multiple different perspectives, analyse potential outcomes, takes calculated risks, and make decisions that help propel the organization forward.
- Navigating and driving change – identifying the need for change, executing structured change management strategies, guiding teams through managing periods of uncertainty and disruption, and ensuring operational stability and continuity throughout the transformation.
