Overview
In this role you will design, develop and implement Variation Planning processes with S/4HANA capabilities as part of the ERP Evolution Programme.
You will harmonise end-to-end planning for Rx and Vx across multiple sites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a scalable, compliant solution.
You’ll drive process design, integrations and governance to enable steady-state operations and staged deployment waves.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional transformation role with a clear impact on supply planning and regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of Variation Planning processes in S/4, integrating with PLM, Veeva, RIMS and related reporting.
- Capture and translate business requirements for Variation Planning (pedigree management, API/bulk planning, regulatory events) and assess design options.
- Collaborate in ERP Evolution and PLM/Planning workshops to document nuances and requirements for Variation Planning.
- Define end-to-end Variation Planning across Rx and Vx for current and future waves (Rx Wave 2, Vx Wave 7).
- Ensure alignment with ERP Evolution architecture and dependencies (Global Batch Traceability, Batch Release Hub, Quality Core Design, OMP/APO integration).
- Document processes, functional specs, integrations, data needs and reporting solutions for Variation Planning.
- Update ERP Evolution and PLM documentation to reflect design decisions and scope.
- Create and execute test scenarios and scripts; support UAT and DIL testing including defect triage.
- Define interim processes and transition plans to S/4 Waves 2 and 7; coordinate with site planning teams for local changes.
- Coordinate with system integrators and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution delivery.
- Support governance materials for DRB/CCB/Steer Co and manage change requests through formal processes.
- Work with Deployment teams and Global Process Owners to ensure consistent implementation across sites and waves.
- Key requirements
- Experience in Variation Planning processes, including pedigree management and interactions with Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Regulatory and PLM functions.
- Experience managing API and bulk planning with multiple pedigrees and genealogy requirements.
- Experience supporting regulatory change processes and impact assessment on supply planning.
- Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA within Planning, PLM or Supply Chain environments.
- Experience defining business requirements, process documentation, testing activities and process improvements.
- Experience facilitating workshops and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
