About The Role

The Global Reporting Optimisation Lead is a CBIA leadership position within Business Intelligence Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the organization is equipped with accurate and harmonized market and panel data across enterprise and driving next-generation performance reporting and analytics. This role works cross-functionally with markets, business units, and enterprise-functions addressing complex data challenges and developing innovative solutions in the fast evolving nature of data & analytics, including AI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Harmonization and Integration: Lead the development, management and enterprise adoption of a harmonized data lake, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to operationalize and scale data integration platforms.
  • Development/Implementation of the reporting strategy: Development of new reporting solutions to ensure dissemination of insights across the business and at all levels, including new sources of data to improve diagnostic and analysis, advanced data management and visualisation capabilities and team resources and processes optimisation, closely collaborating with cross functional with data team/business/commercial stakeholders to ensure consistency of data management, reporting & analyses across the business and ‘one version of the truth’ is applied to deliver consistent and accurate messages and recommendations to Senior Stakeholders.
  • Data Democratisation and Education: Promote the use of automated reporting tools, offering support, advice and training where needed and make recommendations on where existing reports can be updated and optimised and where new features and functionalities can be built into the new reports. Share knowledge, ideas, and best practices with the rest of the CBIA team. Collaborate with the Knowledge Centre lead to ensure optimal management of the off-shore team based in India ensuring right scope of work, prioritisation and quality of deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Significant experience in market data management, business intelligence, or market data analysis within a global organization, ideally in the FMCG or Healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of driving transformation in Business Intelligence and delivering data integration, harmonization and data visualisation projects using tools such as PowerBI.
  • Deep understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and familiarity with modern data technologies & reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex global integration projects and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt and find innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and skilled in collaborating within fast-paced, matrixed organizations, building effective relationships and influencing decision-makers across diverse geographies and functions.
