About the role: Equity & Innovation Manager is a critical role on the CBIA Performance & Effectiveness Team. You will report to Brand & Expert Director, and be responsible for the management of our Brand Equity Program (BPS) and Innovation Best Practices and Capability. On Brand equity, you will manage our Global BPS program and generate enterprise-level insights that fuel brand strength, supporting decision making as well as working closely with Category and OUs teams to embed those into decisions. On Innovation, you will be responsible for creating best practices methodologies and training as well as generating meta-learning at enterprise level to support success across our diverse portfolio end-to-end. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and develop expertise in a dynamic global environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the Global Brand & Expert Director in identifying global insight priorities for brand equity and innovation development for CBIA.
- Hypothesis, identify and prioritise projects to drive greater effectiveness around Innovation Development (e.g. concept, claim, volumetric).
- Define and execute rigorous pilot methods & analytical approaches, leveraging learning and scaling pilots where appropriate, generating data points for future investment models, working with agency partners and Category and OUS CBIA team to embed Best Practices.
- Lead the Global Equity program, ensure data quality and coverage, and partner with external agency.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of brand equity performance data at global level; this includes managing complex datasets, identifying granular trends and preparing exec-ready reports that inform strategic recommendations.
- Lead ad hoc projects, including managing day-to-day interactions with specific external service providers for data collection, analysis and reporting, ensuring project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Be the business partner for Category brand teams, developing deep, enduring insights to build capability around brand equity and innovation effectiveness.
- Work closely with Category and OUs CBIA teams to share learnings, solve growth challenges and input to strategic future direction.
- Proactively collect feedback from Global and OU teams on insights provided, ensuring an iterative process to make sure all insights are relevant and trusted.
- Manage approved suppliers as well as negotiate contracts with Procurements.

Basic Qualifications:
- Strong business acumen with proven history of translating findings into actionable recommendations with business value attached to them.
- Experience in leading multi-country projects and in quantitative research design and business application of analytics techniques.
- Experience in independently managing and executing analytical projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to global standards.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with different cultures or in a multi-cultural environment.
- Familiarity with statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R, Python) or data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Prior experience in Consumer Health or FMCG, with a focus on brand or innovation analytics.
- A self-starter who can anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.
This position is a grade: 7.
