We are seeking a Global Supply Chain Planner to join our global planning team. You will help create realistic supply plans, balance capacity and demand, and work with colleagues across operations, commercial and regional teams to ensure products reach customers on time. This role offers exposure to global supply planning and opportunities to contribute to improvements in planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate planning data and parameters to support reliable planning outcomes.
- Analyse plan variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with finance, quality, operations and scheduling to align supply decisions with business needs.
- Lead investigations into supply incidents and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare clear reports and track key performance indicators to support decision-making.
- Support change initiatives that improve planning processes and ways of working.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering or a related field.
- Experience in supply planning, demand planning or operational supply chain roles.
- Experience using an ERP system for planning (e.g., SAP) and updating planning parameters.
- Excel skills and the ability to analyse multiple data sources to inform decisions.
- Influence cross‑functional stakeholders and work in a matrixed environment.
- Clear communicator with good organisational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience in global supply planning, ideally in pharmaceuticals, clinical supply or fast‑moving consumer goods.
- Familiarity with capacity planning, inventory optimisation and Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) or similar processes.
- Formal supply chain certification or Lean/Six Sigma training.
- Experience managing plans across multiple manufacturing sites or external partners.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model with both remote and on‑site collaboration.
