Position Summary: As a Data Lifecycle Specialist, you will manage and own SAP data setup activities across lifecycle(s) specifically for new product introductions (NPI) and post approval changes, ensuring data accuracy, traceability and compliance. You will collaborate with colleagues in the supply chain including quality ensuring data delivery timelines are met on time to ensure products can be manufactured and launched on time. We value clear communication, attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving. You will be a key contributor to our business aims. This role lets you develop practical data expertise, manage improvements and help deliver new products at GSK on time bringing together science, people and processes to get ahead of disease.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain master data and associated records throughout the data lifecycle (including shared-data, incoming APIs, NPI and commercial stages).
- Coordinate cross-functional data changes and ensure timely updates in SAP.
- Protect product quality by ensuring accurate, compliant data - and manage timely corrective actions that keep launches on track and patients safe.
- Attend and align to key site meetings, collaborating with multiple functions and provide relevant updates and escalations to impacted project plans.
- Promote a data culture that ensures timely task completion and RFT data quality.
- Manage and take part in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to highlight and drive process improvements as an integral part of the day-to-day business to improve performance of the team.
- Active employee participation in safety, cost and quality improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualification:
- Experience working on the ERP platform and SAP.
- Data management experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer focus and stakeholder management experience.
- GCSEs or equivalent (including Mathematics and English).
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in a data management or supply chain environment.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks or master data standards.
- Working knowledge of data tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Familiarity with change control, data governance and quality/regulatory expectations.
This secondment / Fixed Term Contract (FTC) is expected to last circa 24-months in duration. Please ensure you have spoken with your line-manager to ensure they are supportive of your application.
