We are seeking a passionate and experienced Capital Planning Manager to join our team and drive strategic investment planning, ensuring our facilities, infrastructure, and services are aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.

As the Capital Planning Manager, you will take ownership of developing and maintaining strategic Facilities Investment Plans, prioritizing site capital investments, and driving alignment with GSK's broader business strategies. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary client interface, building relationships with business leads, site engineering/operations, EHS, and service partners to develop and implement strategic Facilities Investment Plans.
  • Partner with R&D leadership to scope and assess feasibility for key strategic business projects, ensuring infrastructure and services meet future needs.
  • Develop and manage annual capital plans, prioritizing investments based on business, infrastructure, and EHS risks, aligned with site and GSK objectives.
  • Lead the site's Lifecycle Asset Management (LCAM) program, ensuring condition assessments are completed and driving need-based capital investment to maximize asset lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify future capacity, technology, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Monitor portfolio performance using KPIs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Triage new project requests, prioritizing them within the capital plan and determining the most appropriate delivery path (e.g., large capital, small capital, site minor works).
  • Manage the portfolio's capital budget, including demand forecasting, funding allocation, and tracking actual expenditures.
  • Foster continuous improvement and effective communication to align capital planning with broader business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Facilities Management, Operations, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Experience in facilities management, engineering, or capital planning roles in a highly regulated environment, preferably in Pharmaceuticals.
  • Financial literacy and experience in capital budgeting, including tracking and governing expenditures.
  • Broad engineering knowledge and familiarity with project management processes and tools.

  • Ability to lead diverse teams, drive performance, and foster continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Facilities Management, Operations, Engineering, or Project Management.
