We are looking for a dynamic Brand Manager for an exciting and high-profile opportunity within GSK’s Specialty Business Unit. In this role you will be accountable for implementing the marketing strategy and will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager and with the broader commercial team (including sales). This is an important role within GSK’s Specialised Respiratory team in the UK, where there are significant performance ambitions requiring us to be accountable for impact, ambitious for patients and always do the right thing. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team encompassing Medical, Market Access, and various support functions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally (internally and externally) to localise global strategy and/or create and execute local marketing plans.
  • Ownership of materials and processes for us to thrive in a competitive marketplace and leveraging digital solutions.
  • Contributing to operational plans and cycle reviews to measure impact of marketing campaigns, adopting a test-and-learn approach, and incorporating learnings into new planning cycles.
  • Developing high-value content across multiple channels (web, email, display, print, events) with a specific focus on addressing key customer challenges, driving brand advocacy, and maximising the customer experience.
  • Setting clear campaign objectives founded on customer needs.
  • Selecting, developing, and refreshing quality content, championing and utilising the most advanced digital solutions and processes (e.g., Gen AI) to bring the brand positioning to life.
  • Conducting regular A/B tests of different content types across different personas, harnessing generative technologies.
  • Engaging and briefing local agencies to create gold standard creatives, aligned to campaign objectives.
  • Driving and creating customer-centric omnichannel user journeys via a thorough understanding of what matters most to customers.
  • Analyse data to understand customer behaviours, needs, and preferences, and optimising content and activities based on personas and channel preferences.
  • Measuring and reporting marketing campaign performance against objectives and KPIs, identifying trends and insights, and collaborating with teams and partners to optimise spend, performance, and user experience.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills and characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of the ABPI code.
  • Proven experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field, with a track record of developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns through a cross-functional team.
  • Possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills, producing high-quality, data-driven, and creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Values an iterative design approach with a strong sense of ownership and proactive advocacy for the end-user.
  • Open to taking on new challenges and learning new skills, while being collaborative, curious, empathetic, open-minded, and innovative.
  • Brings high energy and passion to the job, influencing those around them, and building trust and rapport to create a comfortable and effective workplace.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including experience in Agile project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Veeva PromoMats or equivalent content management system.
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience within secondary care environment.
  • Experience in biologic therapies and/or respiratory brands.
  • Proactively explores new ideas, trends and opportunities (including processes, business models, innovative product launches, and how to best harness digital solutions e.g. AI) to drive business performance and future growth.
  • Inspires others to work towards an innovative culture.
