MPE, a Division of Englobe, is currently seeking a Junior / Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our MPE Sudbury Ontario office. The successful candidate will take an important role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects. Your Contribution:
- Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering.
- Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists.
- Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties.
- Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Open to consider a new grade and/or with a Registration with PEO as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.).
- 0 to 8 years of experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management, preferably for water resource related projects.
- Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software.
- Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
