Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of passive fire protection projects across London and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts from award through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple passive fire protection projects, including fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, and associated remedial works.
  • Oversee project planning, programming, resource allocation, and subcontractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Conduct site visits, progress meetings, and quality inspections across various project locations.
  • Manage project budgets, valuations, variations, and cost control measures.
  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, site managers, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are met and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and certification records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing passive fire protection contracts within the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of all areas of fire stopping.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Good commercial awareness and contract administration experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout London and surrounding areas.
  • FIRAS or similar industry accreditation knowledge.
  • Relevant IFE qualification or membership.
