Role: Store Manager β Totnes
Hours: Monday β Saturday (9:30am β 5:00pm) (37.5 hours β rota basis)
Salary: Starting at Β£26,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Totnes, TQ9 5DX

We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our Totnes store on Fore Street.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Totnes branch, ensuring it is presented to the highest standards while driving sales, profitability and outstanding customer service.
- Maintain exceptional standards throughout the store and window displays to maximise sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Work towards and achieve key performance indicators, including turnover, profitability and staff retention.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately five staff through regular appraisals, coaching and training.
- Manage rotas, timesheets, absence and sickness, and follow company disciplinary procedures where required.
- Recruit, induct and train new team members as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with company Health & Safety policies and promote best practice within the team.
Qualifications
- We are looking for a passionate and hands-on manager who is committed to delivering excellent service and driving store performance.
- Leads by example, motivating the team and creating a positive, professional working environment.
- Drives sales and profitability through strong product knowledge, visual standards and team performance.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly organised with strong administrative skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, emails, etc.
- Previous experience as a supervisor or manager within a retail or commercial environment is essential.
