GSH Projects are recruiting a Project Manager to join our Passive Fire Protection team based in Weston-super-Mare. This position will manage and lead individual and multi-disciplined Commercial projects. You are directly accountable for working with our internal teams and third parties meeting projected delivery dates and to stay within budget on all projects and solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and assist in development of projects and programs that will establish quality objectives relating to Passive Fire Protection works. Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation, and final delivery. Oversee Fire Protection installations, including budget management, scheduling, and risk analysis. Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations. Create a work plan for Passive Fire Protection installations that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors. Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans. Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously, including all fire door installations, Fire door remediations, and Firestopping installations. Protect confidential and sensitive information. Enhance company and department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organization. Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions. Attend site when required to complete surveys, inspections and project completion meetings. Qualification / Experience: You must have proven experience within the commercial construction industry. You must have proven experience within the Passive Fire Protection sector. Worked to LPCB accreditation. Experience working with building regulations and building control. Knowledge and experience working with PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Commercial business acumen. Personal Attributes: Critical thinker. Our client base encompasses student accommodation, social housing, retail, offices, hospitals & local councils. We are a nationwide full-service contractor made up of 3 divisions: Small Works, Major projects & Passive Fire Protection. Further Information: This role is being offered on a full-time, Permanent basis (37.5 hours P/W) and is based in Weston-super-Mare. Immediate start.
