GSH Projects are recruiting a full-time multi-skilled carpenter to join our installation team based in Weston-super-Mare. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail-oriented carpenter who ideally has experience in fire door installation and repair and/or a willingness to learn. You will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry works across commercial projects nationally as this role will require travel and overnight stays depending on order book requirements.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Installation of fire-rated and non-fire-rated doorsets (Timber and Composite)
- Remediation of fire-rated and non-fire-rated doorsets (Timber and Composite)
- Working to LPS1197, LPS1271, LPS1531 accreditation
- All general aspects of carpentry and joinery
- Capturing all stages of installation within our internal PlanRadar software system
- Collaborating with clients, members of the public, internal teams, suppliers and contractors
- Able to perform tasks that may require physical exertion, such as lifting and carrying materials
Qualification/Experience:
- CSCS blue card
- DBS
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification) or time served
- Full valid clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites is required
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Proven experience within the commercial construction industry
- Knowledge and experience working with PBSA & Social housing sector
