Role Purpose
The Team Leader plays a critical role in driving operational excellence within the warehouse by leading a high-performing team, ensuring safe working practices, maintaining strong productivity standards, and fostering a positive, engaged culture.
This role is responsible for coordinating daily activities, ensuring processes and procedures are consistently followed, and championing continuous improvement across all areas of operation.
- Operational Performance & Productivity
- Lead the day-to-day running of warehouse activities to meet operational targets.
- Monitor workflow, allocate tasks, and adjust priorities to maintain optimal productivity.
- Ensure all processes, SOPs, and work instructions are consistently followed.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and accuracy.
- Support planning teams with labour allocation, resource forecasting, and shift readiness.
- Safety, Compliance & Professional Standards
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members follow H&S policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks, elevate hazards, and support incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

- People Leadership & Team Development
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members throughout the shift.
