We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to lead and coordinate the replenishment team in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all stock replenishment activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in line with operational targets and health & safety standards.
Shift: Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and support the replenishment team to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Organise and delegate tasks to team members based on workload and priorities.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of pick locations.
- Ensure accurate use of warehouse management systems and handheld devices.
- Maintain high standards of stock accuracy through regular audits and spot checks.
- Ensure that FIFO (First In, First Out) and other stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting replenishment performance.
- Report and escalate operational challenges to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor.
- Train and onboard new team members and support ongoing development.
- Promote and ensure adherence to health & safety and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in a replenishment or stock control role.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and inventory systems.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- IT literate – experience using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
- Valid forklift licence (desirable, but not essential depending on site requirements).
