About The Role
Our Warehouse Operatives ensure orders are picked and packed, ready to be delivered to customers. They champion customer service delivery, coordinating warehouse stock efficiently and meeting delivery timeframes. As a zero hour/casual contact, you will support the branch by covering holidays or absences.
Main Duties Include
- Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts.
- Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
- Checking stock quantities against the computer and ensuring stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.
Working Hours
Up to 41 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday work as needed depending on branch cover.
About You
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- A good team player.
- Work efficiently with good attention to detail.
- Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable.
