Role Purpose
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive Strategic Sourcing Manager to optimize our sourcing and procurement operations. This role will focus on identifying alternative suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring cost savings for the company. This role will initially concentrate on sourcing and procurement, with the potential to expand into export operations as the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers to ensure the best cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to maximize cost efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and global supply chain dynamics to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand product demand and sourcing requirements.
- Work closely with logistic, warehouse, finance, and Data teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchase orders, and sourcing analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Plan and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product quality.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.
About You
Required Skills & Experience
- Qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and cost optimization skills.
- Knowledge of import/export processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
