Development of our product offering to ensure category and business objectives are achieved.

Main Duties and Accountabilities

  1. Work with the Head of Category to define brand strategies within each category, considering suppliers, competition, market size, share, growth, and trends.
  2. Develop and optimize the product range, positioning products across various quality and brand tiers, and identify opportunities to consolidate the offer.
  3. Review lost sales and conversion data to support the development of the core product offer.
  4. Maintain product data across systems like Autopart and PIMS to support sales channels, including online catalogues and websites.
  5. Collaborate with Procurement to identify sources for products and brands to meet sales and margin objectives.
  6. Manage the lifecycle of categories and ensure stock profiling aligns with business needs, coordinating with Supply Chain for product availability.
  7. Work with Pricing team to position category pricing appropriately for the market, balancing volume and revenue.
  8. Assist Marketing in creating compelling product materials and promotional campaigns to boost sales.
  9. Engage with Sales teams to understand market needs and support growth within product groups.
