At GSF Car Parts, our Category Programme team play a crucial part in the development of our product offering across our multiple sales channels. As a Support Programme Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the category and business objectives are achieved for this area reporting into the Programme Manager. The programme team covers multiple category areas including:

  • Oil and Automotive Fluids (Coolant, Adblue, Screen wash etc)
  • Consumables (Additives and workshop dry consumables)
  • Accessories and Performance parts
  • Electric vehicle specific parts

Main Duties – Supporting the Programme manager/Programme team on the below:

  • Developing and defining the brand strategies within each of the categories which consider the market size, suppliers, competition, market share, growth and trends within the marketplace that will increase sales, profit and market share.
  • To ensure that our product offer and buying terms are optimised.
  • To effectively manage the life cycle of your categories, ensuring that the stocking profiling programme is relevant for the needs of the business liaising with supply chain and procurement to ensure the category stock holding is effective.
  • Review lost sales and conversion data to support development of core product lines and category areas.
  • Consolidate the product offer where required to support improved pricing, availability, or overall commercial offer.
  • Working with the pricing team to ensure that the category pricing is positioned correctly for the market while maximising the sales opportunity.
  • Supporting catalogue team to ensure market leading cataloguing information is available.
  • Support Ecommerce Channel Growth, supporting online sales and driving different online marketing initiatives.
  • Assist marketing and business needs by implementing compelling category.
