About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an essential role on the team by ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery to our customers. They champion customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.
Main Duties:
- Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
- Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
- Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge
- Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also verifying stock is stored in the allocated bin locations
Working Hours: 20 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.
About You
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A good team player
- Work efficiently with good attention to detail
- Understand the necessity of customer service and working to deadlines
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry desirable
