This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of GSF Car Parts’ growth journey. As a private-equity-backed, multi-site retail business operating at pace, GSF is investing heavily in its data and analytics capability to support continued expansion and modernisation. As Head of Data & Analytics, you will lead that transformation — owning how data, insight and reporting are used across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will work closely with the Executive Team and senior leaders across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.

You will lead a small analytics team and play a hands-on role in building trust in data, improving structure and consistency, and delivering a clear, commercially relevant single version of the truth. Your focus will be on improving data quality and governance, modernising dashboards and MI across Power BI and other reporting platforms, and embedding insight into daily commercial and operational decision-making. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to provide actionable insight across pricing, margin, volume, stock and performance, directly supporting growth and value creation. Looking ahead, you will also help shape how GSF approaches advanced analytics and AI, ensuring innovation is practical, scalable and commercially focused. This is a role for someone who enjoys operating in fast-moving environments, takes ownership, and delivers measurable impact quickly.

About You

  • Strong experience leading data and commercial analytics in a multi-site, high-volume environment
  • Proven ability to transform how organisations use data, insight and reporting
  • Hands-on experience improving data quality, governance and consistency
  • Deep commercial understanding across pricing, margin, volume, stock and performance drivers
  • Strong capability in SQL, Excel and modern BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders and executives
  • A track record of building trust in data and delivering insight that drives better decisions
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve ways of working
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, data science or AI initiatives (desirable)
