Duties at GSF Car Parts include delivering excellent customer service as a Casual Retail Assistant. You will contribute towards achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing sound customer relationships.
- Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders whilst maximising sales.
- Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
- Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone queries and dealing with electronic queries.
- Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
- Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
- Contribute to a positive team performance while working on personal benchmarks to optimise performance.
- Utilise the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
- Ensure that customer-facing areas of the branch are kept clean and tidy.
- Develop strong working relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
- Promote a good image of the company by representing our values and maintaining a professional appearance.
- Work towards the achievement of relevant set KPIs.
Working hours are on a casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekend working.
About You
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven customer service or sales/retail experience within a customer-facing role.
- Target driven and motivated to achieve results.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adopt a positive approach to customer queries, proactively seeking resolutions.
- Confident user of IT and computer systems.
- The ability to work well with others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
